Alert! takes care of timely notification via voice, SMS, e-mail and fax in case of emergencies

FrontWorks, an Amsterdam and Miami based software development and services company, announces the revolutionary Alert! messaging system to fill this need.

FrontWorks Alert! ensures that critical people and teams are notified simultaneously in case of emergencies or any other urgent events, simply by placing one phone call to the Alert! messaging system. The predefined messages are distributed automatically to a contact list by phone, SMS, e-mail and fax. Special cascading options within Alert! offer the possibility to define distribution priorities for different type of messages per agent and even define what to do when a message is not answered. The integrated acknowledgement feature secures that the right person has received the message and that the receiver is aware of its content.

Alert!’s range of application is countless. Every organization that uses scenarios and calling lists in case of an emergency or any other event, can now automate those scenarios and take advantage of the extensive messaging functionalities within Alert!.

Alert! is a part of the FrontWorks Speech Factory. Easy to set up and use

Alert! is extremely easy to set up and use. A web browser and a telephone are the only tools you need to set-up Alert!. It will only take five steps to start using Alert!:

Step 1. Sign up via the FrontWorks web site:

Step 2. Create a contact list and organize contacts in groups

Step 3. Record voice messages and write SMS, fax and e-mail messages

Step 4. Define scenarios by choosing combinations of contacts and messages

Step 5. Test and activate scenarios by calling the Alert! invocation line or sending a web request

All access, whether by telephone (fixed or mobile) or web, is secure and uses unique USERID and PIN numbers for identification. Data and information security is provided by FrontWorks technologies.

Communication technologies: tCube and mStream

FrontWorks Alert! uses state-of-the-art communication technologies: tCube and mStream, both developed by FrontWorks. tCube is the open standards proprietary FrontWorks multipurpose voice platform. Based on its components-based framework, it can support a wide range of voice applications, from a PC-based PBX and a server-based contact center to a voice gateway, all supporting Voice over IP (VoIP) and speech recognition technologies. But a host of other implementations can be supported as well.

The Alert! messaging system is also based on the FrontWorks mStream technology, an open software platform capable of handling inbound and outbound messages in all kinds of formats, like e-mail, fax, SMS and voice.
