With this announcement, Linde joins a growing list of blue-chip Intershop customers and partners including BMW, HP Services, Otto, Quelle, TimeLife, TRW and Volkswagen
The site provides every Linde distributor with online access to parts pricing and availability status, ordering, service information, documentation download, parts return, and warranty claim authorisation and processing. Dealers receive up-to-date corporate information via an electronic Message Center, and can submit and obtain all authorisation requests and approvals via the site.
The new LindeLink.com site has increased business efficiency and staff productivity at Linde Lift Truck Corp. and the entire dealer channel. The most significant gains are attributed to the sites robust capabilities for parts management. By moving from a paper-based process to an automated self-service on-line system, steps that took hours now take minutes. A key part of the implementation was the integration of Intershop Enfinity with SAP.
