Woking, Surrey, 29th April 03 - Wick Hill announces the availability of the newly launched FortiManager, an integrated management and monitoring tool that enables enterprises and service providers to automate the deployment and lifecycle management of dozens, hundreds or thousands of FortiGate(tm) Anti-virus Firewalls across multiple, geographically dispersed installations.

FortiGate, which has triple ICSA certification, is the only application specific integrated circuit (ASIC), network-based anti-virus firewall system for real-time network protection. FortiGate detects and eliminates the most damaging, content-based threats from email and Web traffic such as viruses, worms, intrusions, inappropriate Web content and more in real time - without degrading network performance.

FortiGate systems also deliver a full range of network-level services - firewall, VPN, intrusion detection and traffic shaping - in dedicated, easily managed platforms.

The new FortiManager System, designed to manage and control multiple Fortigate anti-virus firewalls, is built on a powerful architecture emphasising reliability, scalability, ease of use and easy integration with third party systems. It provides a central point of control for establishing multi-faceted security policies, monitoring system status, and logging traffic and threat activity.
