Martin Browne, executive director of Azure, the telecoms revenue assurance specialist, will be speaking at the TeleManagement World 2003 conference and exhibition, which takes place at the Acropolis Convention Centre, Nice, France between 19 and 22 May 2003.

Martin will be presenting a session entitled “Interconnect: How to lose money without really trying” at 5pm on 20 May 2003. The session forms part of the conference theme “Enter the lean operator: Transforming Telecom Operations” which will focus on reducing operating costs, increasing business agility and improving the customer experience.

Azure will also be exhibiting as part of the OSS Expo, where it will be demonstrating its latest products and services aimed at reducing losses and safeguarding profits from malicious and unintentional revenue leakage. Products include: Interconnect Accounting, Fraud Prevention, Event Integrity, Mediation Management and Route Optimisation.

Azure is backed by the recently launched technology venturing partnership, NVP Brightstar, created in February this year. NVP Brightstar has been created by BT Brightstar, formerly part of BT’s research and technology business, BTexact Technologies; Coller Capital, the UK-based global private equity investment manager; and New Venture Partners, the US-based venture capital firm.
