ORMvision N.V., the software provider that enables telecommunications operators to collaborate more efficiently and in a standardised fashion, will be demonstrating its techniques in the TeleManagement Forum (TMF) Catalyst Showcase at the TeleManagement World 2003 conference and exhibition, which takes place at the Acropolis Convention Centre, Nice, France between 19 and 22 May 2003.

ORMvision will be participating alongside Amdocs, BTexact Technologies and WebMethods as part of the collaborative business process management (CBPM) catalyst, which aims to demonstrate how service providers can enhance the service repair process and reduce costs by using an industry standard platform to standardise and handle multi-operator transactions.

The Catalyst Showcase program is the living lab of the TeleManagement Forum that enables service providers, systems integrators, and hardware/software vendors to work together to solve common, critical industry challenges.

Phil Church, CEO ORMvision, said: “The need for effective business processes to save time and money has never been greater, with pressures on service providers to reduce operating costs. By participating in the Catalyst Showcase we hope to demonstrate how complex multi-party services can be managed much more efficiently using a broker or intermediary such as ORMvision.”

ORMvision has developed ORMcenter, a system designed to streamline communication and collaboration between operations departments of interconnected telecommunication operators, service providers and suppliers. The system manages end-to-end quality of service (QoS) and service level agreements (SLA) by ensuring that leased line installations or fault reports are acted upon in a speedy manner.
