Networks for Business 2003 24-26 June, 2003 Birmingham, NEC

The networking industry's leading suppliers will be launching and demonstrating the latest technologies available within the marketplace at Networks for Business 2003, the only networking infrastructure event in the UK.

"Now in it's 23rd year, Networks for Business is the only forum for IT & telecoms professionals to source the latest products and service solutions available in the marketplace," explains Jane Murphy, Networks for Business Portfolio Director. Just some of the products & services being launched and demonstrated at Networks for Business 2003 will include:

ANP Consultants: Solitaire Turbo With Integrated Keypad Option. The new super-fast Solitaire Turbo from Logicube allows you to quickly build, manage, and duplicate any hard-drive using any OS, right through the USB port, IDE Interface, or PCMCIA slot.

APW: To be launched at the event is the IMstart, a cost-effective entry level 19 cabinet designed to serve the requirements of the traditional 19 rack user as well as the datacom and telecom specialist.

Benning Power Electronics (UK) Ltd: Benning will be launching its new series of Mini Power Racks designed for Customer Equipment Racks, POP Sites and Outdoor Cabinets. Benning will also launch its new range of DSP Inverters designed for Communication racks with the ability to upgrade from 1kVA to 20kVA with parallel redundant architecture.

Case Communications: The XLR4600 will debut at Networks for Business 2003. Aimed at organisations with multiple locations, the XLR solution can provide annual cost savings of over 87% on short-haul copper circuits, while offering increased performance and capacity over standard PTT offerings. Chronos Technology: Chronos Technology will be introducing the Ibox range of Wireless PnP Subscriber Gateway units and the Chronos IP Telephone. The Ibox acts as a hotspot access controller, provides plug and play instant Internet access, advanced security & network management in such environments as Internet Cafés, Hotels, Conference Facilities Airport Lounges.

CMS(Cable Management Supplies) Ltd: Our latest and most innovative product is the Cablelay matting system. This can be used in either basket or cable trays or laid straight onto a concrete floor to protect UTP or Fibre cables.

Colt Telecommunications: COLT is introducing three new metropolitan city networks at the show. The latest version of COLT's IP VPN product (IPCorporate v2) will also be announced.

Comms Room Services: Comms Room Services and Mitsubishi Electric Europe have partnered to demonstrate the benefits of data and video wall cubes within the comms room environment. Comms Room Services - the intelligent patching specialists, are presenting the benefits of SMARTPatch - The SMART answer to real-time intelligent cable management.

ContentKeeper Technologies Europe: ContentKeeper Technologies announces ContentKeeper SP content filtering solution for Service Providers. This new solution enables Service Providers to offer filtered Internet Access to SME and Home-user customers. Authorised customers can modify their own filtering policies, on-line and in real-time, allowing ISPs the unique opportunity to provide personalised filtering polices for their customer base.

Cyclades England: Cyclades, a data center fault management company enabling remote management of servers, network equipment, and automation devices, has expanded its line of AlterPath Advanced Console Servers (ACS) with three new products of varying port density to help IT professionals better manage data center costs. The four, eight and 48-port AlterPath ACS join the companys 16 and 32-port models released last year. Each offers the industry's only combination of dual power supply and PCMCIA slots for enhanced redundancy and functionality, respectively. Extreme Networks: Extreme Networks will have working demonstrations of the following new products at Networks for Business - unified wireless and wired access switch (Summit 300-48) and wireless module (Altitude 300), Gigabit Ethernet copper and fibre aggregation blades (G16X3 and G24T3) and 'Mariner' the first example of Extreme's new 4th generation programmable-ASIC switching architecture for the network core.

Fluke Networks: The OptiView Console 6.0. software provides deep analysis of the enterprise network, including views of LAN, WAN, and wireless access points and integrates results from connected hardware or software analysers.
The OptiView WAN analyser is the industry's first OC3/OC12 WAN analyser to capture packets on all discovered virtual circuits simultaneously.

Inclarity: Version 3.5 of Broadband Telephony will be released during the exhibition. This version further integrates Broadband Telephony with the users PC, enabling users to control a variety of call features (e.g. follow me, call screening, fax to email, speed dials and voice mail) via their Outlook or Lotus Notes.

Internet Facilitators: Will be showcasing its new Quarter Rack, with their own power supply, cabinet and cabling.

IP Net Ltd: IP Net introduce UnisenOnline which offer a wide range of low-cost VoIP telephony products designed for numerous applications, including the Small Office/Home Office (SOHO), travel, office LAN environments, video conferencing, home use, and commercial business.

ISDN Communications Ltd: ISDN Communications is launching the new Route 1 product for the Broadband user. The Route 1 connects your existing telephone to the broadband network allowing you to get free VoIP calls and if required still use the existing PSTN network in the normal way. The price of this system is sub £100.

Millepede: Proud to launch the new Mille-Tie for large cable bundles and riser applications. The product is suitable for LSOH and Cat6 applications.

Mitsubishi Electric Europe: Comms Room Services and Mitsubishi Electric have partnered to demonstrate the benefit of data/video walls cubes within the comms room environment. Mitsubishis cubes are designed for 24-hour continuous operation with no burn in, making them ideal for this environment.

Multi-Tech Systems: Multi-Tech Systems will be proudly exhibiting its secure VPN, GSM/GPRS wireless and converged Voice Over IP connectivity solutions for the SME and enterprise markets. At the show the company will be launching its first GSM/GPRS desktop modem for global deployment along with NEW RF600 and RF560 VPN/firewall appliances.

Together they share a system-wide control plane and data plane that delivers secure user mobility, seamless wired/wireless integration, and tools to plan and manage big enterprises before, during and after deployment.

Trend Network Services: Trend will be launching its New NetConnect service and the new SLA Monitor service. SLAM will set the standard by which end user companies will ultimately benefit from a two-hour to fix SLA for critical network support.
