A new range of control and illuminated buttons is available from Rowe Hankins Components. The high build quality of the Chint NP2 Series will ensure that electromechanical systems built using the buttons and accessories can be operated safely and reliably. The range can switch electrical components up to 660V AC 50/60Hz and conforms to EN 60947-5-1.

NP2 control buttons come in range of colours and include flush heads, key switches, standard and wing levers. Rubber booted versions give added protection. Illuminated push buttons are available as direct feed up to 400V with separate LED's in various standard voltages or as a transformer type 240V/6V or 110V/6V with a 6V LED available to suit. Rugged mounting collars, contact blocks and bases provide further confidence when building systems.

To complement the buttons, users can also choose from a range of IP65 plastic boxes. Configurations include single, double or triple buttons and emergency stop stations. Non standard variants are also available and the company will advise on the right solution for an application.

Based on the popular 22.5mm diameter cut-out, the Chint NP2 series will provide panel builders and engineers with one source for quality components. Rowe Hankins business development manager, Graham Chadwick, explained, "buttons are the unsung heroes of industry, nothing works unless the buttons do and that is when quality counts. All Chint components are made for heavy duty use and yet are very competitively priced."
