Nicely Crafted Entertainment Limited (NiCE), the creator of massively multi-player on-line games (MMOG), today announces a significant deal with SingTel, Asia’s leading communications company, to deploy its Time of Defiance game to the Asian market.

The deal with SingTel marks NiCE’s entry into the Asian market and is the first of several deals expected to be signed in Asia and Europe this year. The combination of shared revenues and a considerable Asian consumer base makes this potentially a multi-million pound deal over twelve months.

NiCE has developed and designed the only available on-line real time strategy (RTS) game of its type and scale, Time of Defiance, which operates on a subscription model. With no need for a broadband connection, players can compete in their thousands on a global basis in the world’s only full 3D real time strategy game.

NiCE is a developer of massively multi-player online games. Its RTS games lead the way in a market dominated by role playing game (RPG) titles. With its proprietary AliceServer software, NiCE has a 75% complete re-use of assets and software technology that provides a stable base, an ability to prototype at high speed and the advantage of being able to be flexible throughout the development process. This is distinct from most modern computer games software which is re-written in its entirety for each product.
