speed-trap and KPMG sign agreement

Professional services firm KPMG signs with speed-trap to deliver web application measurement and user journey analysis solutions

Newbury, Berkshire 2nd July 2003. speed-trap Limited, the web site, user journey and customer experience analysis experts, has announced that it has signed a Strategic Alliance Value / Added Reseller Agreement with KPMG LLP (UK). Under the terms of the agreement, KPMG will integrate speed -trap’s Prophet range of client-side data collection and analysis solutions within KPMG’s recently launched Web Monitoring Service.

Announcing the signing of the agreement, Simon Burton, speed-trap’s sales director said: “We see our partnership with KPMG as a key factor in growing our business, it will allow us to rapidly expand Prophet’s presence in strategically important blue chip organisations - KPMG’s new Web Monitoring Service having been introduced to help businesses improve performance and customer experience on the Net”.

Burton continued; “Prophets’ patented abilities to observe, analyse and replay the users journey through a web site allows site owners to really understand what their visitors experience. Once this is understood, site operators are able to take action to improve visitors’ experiences and increase web site effectiveness and revenues. The clarity of insight that Prophet provides can be used to drive the development and management of effective and profitable web-based applications.

Commenting on the partnership, Rick Cudworth of KPMG said: “We look forward to using speed-trap’s unique products in our Web Monitoring Service which is designed to help fledgling as well as more established Web businesses to develop improved service reliability, security and usability of their sites”.
