17 July 2003: Chessington: Ideal has been named as Fujitsu Siemens Computers’ distributor of the year 2003 as voted for by UK resellers.
David Cullinane, Managing Director, Fujitsu Siemens Computers UK, this week presented the award to Mark Walker, director, Ideal Enterprise Solutions during an awards ceremony at the Fujitsu Siemens Computers Channel Conference 2003. Over three hundred resellers who attended the conference voted for Ideal.
“We were an early adopter of Siemens Computer Systems and then Fujitsu Siemens Computers’ (FSC), products and have enjoyed a great relationship with the company. To win this award two years running is a fantastic achievement by Ideal and a tribute to our FSC account managers. Awards decided by our reseller customers are always something to be proud of and this confirms Ideal as the class act in distribution,” said Mark Walker.
“We’re delighted to present this award to Ideal – in a year that’s been tough for many distributors, it clearly shows that in Fujitsu Siemens Computers’ terms, Ideal is very much on top of its game,” added Dave Cullinane. “We find this award very useful in terms of delivering accurate feedback and learning how resellers rank their distributors. The fact that so many resellers chose Ideal suggests it is doing a great job and we look forward to developing our business during the coming year.”
Ideal supplies a huge range of FSC products including PDAs, desktops, notebooks, server and storage products.
Plaudits received from resellers included:
“Service above and beyond the call of duty”
“Ideal has more stock and help to defend my margins better by providing deals and a high level of information”
“We have one single point of contact who consistently surprises us with his level of knowledge and expertise in Fujitsu products.”
“Always ready to respond to your needs and willing to fulfill any unusual orders.”
“The Boris online ordering system is easy to use and allows you to order outside office hours”
“They are worthy of this award because they care about my business and understand my Fujitsu requirements.”
