* Intec completes TL 9000/ISO9001 quality certification, joins QuEST Forum

London – July 21, 2003 - Intec Telecom Systems, a global leader in operations support systems (OSS), has become the first mediation vendor to receive TL 9000/ISO 9001 certification. TL 9000 is a set of standards for telecommunications quality management systems that encompasses ISO 9001. These standards are determined by the Quality Excellence for Suppliers of Telecommunications (QuEST) Forum of which Intec is now a member.

To become TL 9000 certified, companies must contact a TL 9000 registrar, create a quality manual, document processes and procedures and gather various process and product measurements. These processes are then evaluated and compared to the TL 9000 standards. This certification process also includes ongoing internal and external audits.
