Microsoft Business Solutions partner Sytation celebrates 10 years of offering business applications to UK SMEs this August and will be celebrating by inviting customers to take a behind the scenes tour of the Jaguar Formula One racing team factory.

The company, which is based in Loughborough in the East Midlands, was the first partner signed by Great Plains when it came to Europe in 1993.

Since then, as the market for business applications has grown and the market has become increasingly sophisticated, Sytation has remained an important part of what has subsequently become the Microsoft Business Solutions channel, following the acquisition of Great Plains by Microsoft in 2000.

Nick Richards, Head of Marketing at Sytation, said: "We were here first with the Great Plains product and from that day to this we have made it our business to exceed customer expectations when it comes to delivering systems based on the Great Plains platform. Here we are 10 years later and we are still committed to providing our business customers with systems that transform the way they do business."

Simon Edwards, Microsoft Business Solutions Country Manager for UK and Ireland, said: "Congratulations Sytation on this significant milestone. In any business sector 10 years is a long time, but even more so in the technology industry where the pace of change is so fast. We look forward to the next 10 years of Sytation delivering excellent solutions based on Microsoft technology."
