London, 12 August, 2003 - TeleCity (LSE: TCY.L), the award-winning pan
European data centre services company, today announced that LambdaNet
Communications, the pan-European supplier of telecommunications and
Internet services, has extended its Metropolitan Area Network (MAN) into
TeleCity's two London Docklands facilities.

LambdaNet's decision to extend its London MAN to TeleCity's data centres
was twofold; a significant number of existing customers, including
carriers and service providers, were looking to route traffic through
London on the LambdaNet network. Additionally, by establishing a
presence at TeleCity London, LambdaNet can interconnect with a high
number of businesses located at the same facility, increasing the
scalability of its service while reducing the costs of linking to these
networks and partners across multiple locations.

London is a key location in LambdaNet Communications' international IP
and optical network, which spans more than 70 cities Europe-wide. By
extending its network capacity across London, LambdaNet will extend it's
extensive portfolio of telecommunications services - ranging from
bandwidth, wavelength and Internet transit services through to VPNs
(Virtual Private Networks) - to Telecity's wholesale customers looking
to satisfy the increased demand for metro services in the region.

Bernie Smedley, CEO at LNG Holdings S.A., said: "We were looking for a
state-of-the-art data centre in London from a provider who had a
commitment to high levels of customer service and a footprint across
Europe. TeleCity's proven reputation and experience of working with
other international carriers and its valuable mix of bandwidth intensive
customers make their business environment extremely attractive.
"We are very pleased to be offering services to TeleCity customers. The
metro network extension to TeleCity is an extension of our plan to link
all the most important data centres in Europe through the LambdaNet IP
transport network."

"We're very happy to add LambdaNet to our formidable choice of network
providers in London," said Simon Bushell, TeleCity UK country manager.
"Large carriers such as LambdaNet have found the TeleCity data centre
environment ideal for establishing relationships with customers and
partners alike. We are committed to bringing the best of breed network
services and carrier choice to TeleCity customers."
