Belfast, UK, 2nd October 2003 – Tascomi Services today launched Probe, a highly intuitive, web based application that guides organisations through the correct procedures when a high impact incident such as fraud, sexual harassment or asset misappropriation is reported within the company. The entire process takes the user through all the steps needed to validate the complaint and take it forward to prosecution. In addition, it enables organisations to demonstrate compliance with the Public Interest Disclosure Act 1998, aka The Whistleblower Act and International Corporate Governance Guidelines and legislation.

Probe, which is already installed in a major UK utility company and a global telecoms enterprise, allows organisations to track and respond to critical incidents in a covert manner, but a full audit trail provides the necessary proof that responsible action was taken by the company on receiving a complaint. Granular control ensures that users only see the aspects of an investigation that they are directly involved in and that the person being investigated, even if it is an executive board director, remains unaware.
