New division shows commitment to expanding services across the continent

October 8, 2003: Bell Microproducts Europe is extending its successful enterprise storage initiative with the launch of a new division in France.

The new French enterprise arm is dedicated to driving demand for corporate data storage solutions for Bell Microproducts reseller partners, and extending the market on behalf of its unique portfolio of vendors.

Snap Appliance, Quantum, JNI, Emulex, QLogic, Quantum, Brocade, McData, FalconStor Software and Chaparral have already given Bell Microproducts Europe distribution agreements for France, and more are expected over coming weeks.

The new enterprise initiative is officially launched today at Forum Stockage, at Paris Expo Hall, Porte de Versailles from October 8 to 10.

Forum Stockage is the most important European event entirely dedicated to data storage, data management, data administration and data security.

This latest move follows the huge success of the Bell Microproducts enterprise initiative which to date is operational in the UK, Italy, Sweden, Germany, Austria and the Netherlands, and which now employs more than 150 dedicated sales and technical staff.

Bell Microproducts Europe can provide highly focused and experienced management, support and delivery for enterprise level storage, systems, software and networking solutions. Its ability to provide enterprise-wide server and storage solutions, integrated with IT systems, utilising the world's leading manufacturers in each product set, has been a hit with both resellers and their corporate customers.

Ian French, CEO of Bell Microproducts Europe, comments “This announcement is just the latest evidence of our ambitious plans to expand our market leading services across Europe, and we see France as a massive growth area for Bell Microproducts Europe.”
