Azure, the telecoms revenue assurance company, will be presenting and exhibiting at the Combating Telecom Fraud in Asia Summit 2003 and the Asia Pacific Prepaid Mobile Forum, which take place at the Conrad Hotel, Bangkok, Thailand, between 28-30 October 2003.

Dave Woods, director of fraud control services at Azure, will be presenting a session entitled “Interconnect & roaming fraud – identifying and overcoming inter carrier / interconnect fraud” at 14:05 on 28 October 2003. With worldwide telecoms fraud losses estimated at billion annually ; this session aims to identify and measure interconnection fraud, provide tips on preventing international roaming fraud, and examine the latest developments to combat roaming fraud in GPRS (global packet radio systems) and 3G (third generation) mobile environments.

Azure will also be hosting a full-day workshop on 30 October 2003. Dave Woods and Martin Browne, executive director at Azure, will be running a session entitled “Determining strategies for managing interconnection revenue leakage” to define causes of interconnect revenue leakage, examine causes of interconnect fraud and abuse and identify the impact that IP and content will have on future interconnect strategies.
