Partnership Includes Supply Of InSight Next Generation Platform And Services, Multimedia Messaging & SMS Text Messaging Services, Mobile Data Gateway, And ImPact Suite Services To Enable Increased Revenue

WOODBURY, NY, Nov 12, 2003 – Comverse, a unit of Comverse Technology, Inc. (NASDAQ: CMVT), and the world’s leading supplier of software and systems enabling network-based multimedia enhanced communications services, today announced the sale of a broad array of services from its Total Communication portfolio to the Netherlands’ Telfort mobile network. The sale includes Comverse’s InSight next generation platform and services, Multimedia Messaging Service Center (MMSC), Intelligent Short Message Service Center (ISMSC), Mobile Data Gateway (MDG), notification services and other services designed to generate potential revenues from the ImPact Suite, including Who Called, Call Return, Web Personal Manager and Multiple Greetings.

The Comverse Total Communication portfolio includes a wide range of network-based value-added services, enabling operators to provide subscribers with a rich service offering and a superior user experience, regardless of network type (wireline; wireless: 2G, 2.5G, 3G) or payment plan (post-paid, prepaid).
