Azure, the telecoms revenue assurance company, will be presenting and exhibiting at the ‘Optimising Interconnect Accounting Strategies’ and ‘Next Generation Billing Systems and Processes’ conferences, which take place at The Sheraton, Lisbon, Portugal, between 1-4 December 2003.

Eden Phillips, CTO at Azure, will be jointly presenting with Dan Even Henriksen Åsliof of Telenor, a session entitled “Identifying the optimum billing migration strategy to deliver the requisite level of flexibility, scalability and performance to bill for current and new generation services” at 11:05 on 2 December 2003. The session aims to pinpoint the strengths and weaknesses of current billing processes and identify successful next-generation billing and revenue assurance strategies.

Martin Browne, executive director at Azure, will be presenting a session entitled “Examining the challenges presented by inter-operator accounting when optimising risk and revenue management strategies” at 16:00 on 2 December 2003. The session will identify the key revenue assurance challenges faced in the interconnect billing process and show how operators can overcome revenue losses.

Azure will also be hosting a full-day pre-conference workshop on 1 December 2003. The session, entitled “An introduction to next-generation interconnect accounting”, will show the evolution of interconnect accounting and how to minimise interconnect fraud and abuse.
