New INGOTZ card launched

- Over 100,000 cards expected to be in circulation by Christmas

Ingotz, operated by Ingotz International Inc, has introduced a new online pre-payment card. The cards, which can be purchased on line by telephone or from an extensive network of UK retailers, are available to all without formality or a credit-check. All cards carry a full 16 digit debit card style number across the front can be used to make purchases online.

Aimed primarily at the youth market, the INGOTZ card will enable anyone to purchase online without a traditional plastic card. By registering and activating the inbuilt parental control feature, parents can have peace of mind that purchases are being made responsibly.

The stylish card design (in black and gold) appeals to all and Ingotz believes it will have a valuable place in wallets and purses across the globe.

Richard Newsome, Commercial Director of Ingotz UK Limited, said: “Online payment cards have been an incredible success for web users and the youth market, and is the fastest expanding group in its sector. In addition to the security concerns, Internet users want to shop anonymously, without having to provide an address or other personal details. Ingotz is leading the way forward in this field. Latest figures indicate that card sales and top-ups are increasing dramatically during the build up to the Christmas and New Year break, and we have more innovations planned for 2004,” Newsome concluded.

Ingotz is forming partnerships with a number of well-known brands to increase the market and product mix available to its cardholders.

Notes To Editors

When the online shopping boom started in mid-2000, Ingotz International identified the market sector and monitored its usage. Research has shown that many users are still uncomfortable with disclosing their credit card details over the Internet as they effectively relinquish control and trust to a third party. Ingotz restores the confidence factor, and expects to issue in excess of million cards by Q4 2004.
