Route optimisation deal further enhances Azure’s revenue assurance portfolio

Azure, the telecoms revenue assurance company, today announced a partnership with Monnet, the UK-based independent routing optimisation specialist. Under the terms of the deal Azure has bought the intellectual property rights (IPR) for Monnet’s route optimisation products, including various associated hardware and software assets. Monnet will also become a route optimisation reseller for Azure.

The agreement includes the IPR for route optimisation products, ARMS (Automatic Routing Management System) and CCAS (Carrier Cost Administration System). Azure will be taking on staff from Monnet to provide further development, support and maintenance for Monnet’s existing customers.

The deal further enhances Azure’s revenue assurance portfolio, providing a wider range of world-class route optimisation products for existing and next-generation telecoms services. The deployment of route optimisation tools enables operators handling international voice traffic to achieve significant cost reduction, improve margins and protect revenues, all of which make an immediate impact on profitability and cash flow.
