ORMvision, the business process management software company headquartered in Belgium, today announced the release of the latest version of its flagship software suite, ORMcenter. In response to customer demand ORMcenter 2.1, along with other enhancements, now supports Oracle as a platform allowing it to run on both UNIX and Linux servers for mission-critical performance. The ORMcenter software suite provides huge operating cost reductions for telecommunications operators, service providers and suppliers by streamlining communication with collaborative business process automation between operations departments of interconnected companies.
ORMcenter 2.1 builds on the success achieved by its previous version, ORMcenter 2.0, which concentrated on delivery of customer-specific, flexible process and object modelling, a business rules engine, notification devices, and intelligent customer profiling of roles and responsibilities.
This latest release now introduces features aimed at integration and interoperability with the external world, including:
· ORMgateway: this module integrates external business partners (incoming and outgoing) that are using different communication devices
· Self Configuration: maintains business partner profiles via Webforms
· Multi Platform Support: the ORMcenter data store supports both MS SQL Server 2000 and Oracle 9i
· Role Based Security: this module makes it possible to establish different levels based on pre-defined roles and responsibilities
· Business Activity Monitoring (BAM): activates business rules by combining real-time information with context-related information (historical, regional, etc)
