“CeBIT remains the IT trade fair” – MIS premieres new product releases - Solutions for SAP and Microsoft environments

London, 3 February, 2004 – MIS AG will unveil new impulses and innovative business intelligence software at CeBIT 2004, the world’s largest trade fair for IT and communications, from March 18 - 24 in Hannover, Germany.

The highlight of MIS AG’s stand (Hall 4, D 68) is MIS DecisionWare 5.0, a completely new release of the company’s proven software platform for planning, reporting and analysis. The software, which is already renowned for its speed of implementation, sets new standards for ease of use in Version 5.0. Its clear architecture, design and terminology will further facilitate a user’s handling of new solutions.

MIS Zeus, a solution for financial consolidation, is now fully Web-enabled in Version 4.0. Other new features include administration via Internet/Intranet and a reconciliation of relationships among various corporate units using the inter-company matching platform.

MIS Plain, an intuitive analytic tool enabling direct access to Microsoft Analysis Services via an Excel front end, is also one of the first solutions supporting Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services. Users can now publish snapshots of ad-hoc analyses and other MIS Plain views directly into Microsoft Reporting Services, as well as export complex reports via the Intranet more easily.

MIS AG, a four-fold SAP certified partner, will also present flexible BI solutions for SAP systems at a partner booth located at Hall 4, D12. MIS AG’s reporting and CRM analytic front ends are certified for SAP BW and can be directly integrated into SAP Enterprise Portal using MIS Integration Kit. In addition, MIS AG will also exhibit a new solution that supports enterprise budgeting and reporting processes by connecting subsidiaries and other regional or international entities to a central SAP finance system.

At a Microsoft partner booth in Hall 4, A38, MIS AG will also show how small to medium-sized businesses (SMBs) can prepare for upcoming rating negotiations with their banks using MIS Planner for Basel II. MIS AG, a ‘preferred BI partner’ created this solution in collaboration with Microsoft Germany’s Business Intelligence Initiative for SMBs. MIS AG will also demonstrate how customers can publish MIS Plain views in Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services.

"The global economic pulse keeps getting stronger and we expect that to show in a significant number of high-quality contacts as well as in the line of sales. After all, we were one of only a handful of exhibitors who were satisfied with last year’s results in spite of the recession. That’s why for us CeBIT remains the major trade fair,” comments Stefan Sexl, General Manager of MIS GmbH.
