Kem Edwards, established in 1969, has grown into one of the largest component and tool distributors in the South East of England, with a stock inventory of £750,000 made up of over 15,000 product lines. Over the past 12 months Kem Edwards has been working towards the production of a paper catalogue which has proved a complex and time consuming activity. The customer-focused organisation has decided to bolster this effort by providing an electronic webstore of their products to their customers. This approach will enable them to reduce order errors and administration costs while improving service levels, maintaining margin and providing improved product information to their customers.
