WStore, the leading online supplier of business IT equipment, has today announced a new sales team to focus on its sales to Small to Medium Businesses (SMBs). The company’s dedicated SMB Sales Team will be led by Jeremy Stowell, one of the company’s longest serving members of staff, who has been appointed as SMB Sales Manager. This move underlines WStore's commitment to being the leading IT supplier to this key sector of the UK economy.

While many resellers are struggling to make a profit in this sector, WStore has a wealth of experience in successfully selling to SMBs, understanding and anticipating customer needs and enhancing their offerings to meet these standards. WStore’s sales to the SMB sector have increased from £11.2 million to £18.4 million for the SMB market over the period 2001 to 2003.

Often without an IT manager, SMBs lack detailed technical knowledge when it comes to choosing IT. WStore has addressed this issue by staying close to its customers' needs and providing them with the tools to make informed choices. Kate Hembury, WStore sales director, said: "SMB customers need advice and guidance; WStore's low-cost model has enabled us to manage large numbers of customers cost-efficiently, offering higher levels of support and customer service than other SMB-oriented resellers."

She added: “Following our continuing success in the SMB sector, we didn’t want to rest on our laurels. WStore has a dynamic, customer-centric culture and we felt it was vital to invest more resources in this sector in order to better understand its needs and meet its high expectations. Through the restructured SMB team, we hope to build fruitful relationships with our customers and help keep WStore ahead in servicing this sector.”
