18th February 2004, London - Frost & Sullivan, the international consultancy firm, has chosen Easynet, the leading pan-European broadband networking company, to provide the network infrastructure for a new virtual private network (VPN) connecting Frost & Sullivan’s European offices in London, Paris and Frankfurt.
The new network infrastructure for Frost & Sullivan replaces a network largely based on legacy leased lines that were proving too expensive and difficult to manage and adapt to changing requirements.
Frost & Sullivan chose Easynet because the company had the pan-European expertise and resources to respond to the requirement for a more flexible network infrastructure that would enable Frost & Sullivan to reduce costs and support a VPN. Easynet will be advising Frost & Sullivan on how its network can be further extended and enhanced in the future.
Tamara Barakovac, telecoms project manager at Frost & Sullivan said: "Our VPN strategy is key to how Frost & Sullivan delivers value to its clients. Easynet understood our need for greater flexibility in the network infrastructure for our European offices. Their solution gives us a means of giving our staff full access to centralised resources and applications at a significantly reduced cost through a high quality network.”
David Rowe, CEO, Easynet said: “Our partnership with Frost & Sullivan on enabling their VPN project, powerfully illustrates how Easynet can deliver a broadband network solution across different countries that saves money, delivers a high quality of service and supports future business growth.”
