Journalists familiar with the celebrated Response Source enquiry service can now benefit from a press release wire and freelance journalist directory launched today.

Journalists can select one or more of 25 subject categories they are interested in receiving press releases on, making it easy for them to quickly set up a press release feed that is applicable to their work.

Freelance journalists can also add preferred contact details, specialist subjects covered and publications worked for, in addition to biographical information. This will ensure that subscribing PR people have accurate and up-to-date information available.

The whole Response Source site has been redesigned to make it clearer – now requesting specific information from PRs using the Response Source journalist enquiry service is easier than ever. All this makes Response Source an even better resource for journalists, ensuring they get relevant information at the right time from the PR community.

Response Source founder Daryl Willcox said: “The Response Source journalist enquiry system has made it easier for thousands of journalists to get basic research done more quickly so they can concentrate on creating quality copy.”

He added: “Now the Response Source site is even more useful, providing journalists with appropriate press releases and giving them control over the information about them that is available to the PR community.”
