Redline Networks, the leader in web application acceleration systems, today announced the appointment of Paul Gracie as Director of EMEA Sales. Paul will spearhead Redline’s growing sales initiatives as the company continues its global expansion to meet market demand for its E|X and T|X web acceleration technologies. Redline’s products enable both web based enterprise applications – such as PeopleSoft, SAP, Siebel and iNotes – and public websites to perform better, thus improving business efficiency, application performance and security. As EMEA now accounts for 30 per cent of Redline’s global revenues, Paul has been promoted to lead the European sales and pre-sales teams in setting strategic direction. He will be responsible both for building new channel relationships and further strengthening Redline’s robust channel partnerships throughout the UK and Europe.

With more than 20 years of strategic sales management and international business development experience in the networking industry, Paul Gracie has succeeded in both start-up and multi-billion dollar companies. He has honed his skills in roles including Manager, Content Delivery Networking Team at Cisco, UK Account Manager, ArrowPoint Communications and Country Manager, Scotland and Ireland, at Bay Networks. For the past two years, he has been responsible for Redline Network’s Channel and End User Direct Touch organisation in Northern Europe and South Africa.

Paul Gracie has a proven track record in growing revenue, for example, at Bay Networks, he increased the revenue in Scotland and Ireland by 400%. Similarly, in his capacity as UK Account Manager at ArrowPoint Communications, he was instrumental in taking the business from technology start-up to a .7 billion dollar Cisco acquisition within three years. His hands-on experience also includes building partnerships with prominent systems integrators and opening and managing lucrative accounts with major organisations in vertical markets.
