The implementation of multiple security technologies needed to counter increasingly sophisticated threats has created a challenge to balance operational efficiency with a cost effective infrastructure. Under the agreement, creating security solutions that take advantage of the pan-European partnership with Crossbeam SystemsÒ, Inc., Integralis will help large enterprises reduce network costs and complexity while creating a stronger, more integrated network defence. Delivering high-end integrated security addressing the requirements of e-commerce infrastructure and data centre rationalisation of large Enterprises and Service Providers.

Announcing the partnership Graham Jones, Director of Northern Europe, said “Organisations are becoming increasingly aware of the security risks to their business and are implementing the necessary security technology, but the drive to business efficiency and consolidation is now key. By integrating security functions into a single hardware infrastructure, cost efficiencies can be found, reducing capital and operational expenditure. Improving operational efficiency by integrating VPN, firewall, SPAM and content scanning, anti-virus and intrusion detection and prevention onto one platform.”

Michel P Martin, VP of EMEA for Crossbeam Systems, commented: ”As the leading Security System Integrator in Europe, Integralis offers un-rivaled expertise with our software vendor partners, in particular Check Point, ISS and Trend Micro . Integralis’ extensive range of security integration, support and managed services, combine with Crossbeam to provide the integrated security infrastructure that is much needed in data centres by large enterprises and service providers“

“The need to implement a wide range of IT security technologies presents major operational efficiency and cost challenges for the larger organisation “, said Nick Horsfield, Integralis Group Marketing Director. “The Crossbeam architecture will enable Integralis to consolidate multiple security applications in a single high-availability platform that will reduce the total cost of ownership.”.
