Endsleigh Insurance, has redesigned its website, www.endsleigh.co.uk, in order to improve its services to its customers and partners. The new design, by retained agency Tamar, is easier to navigate and will update Endsleigh’s online branding with recent changes to the company’s offline branding.

The new site features channels on Personal Insurance, Financial Services and Business Insurance. Policies to cover everything from car and home insurance to mobile phone, landlord and pet insurance can be purchased online as well as over the telephone or in person at one of Endsleigh’s extensive network of high street branches.

The overhaul is part one of a phased approach to improve the experience for prospective and current customers. A section called ‘For Existing Customers’ includes detailed claims advice and improved claim functionality on household, travel and car insurance. Phase two of the project, scheduled for Summer 2004, will enable clients to make adjustments to their polices and renew online.

Commenting on the redesign Stuart Wartalski, Head of Corporate Communications at Endsleigh, said: ‘The new Endsleigh website simplifies and speeds up the provision of independent insurance services throughout the entire career of our customers – right from university through to retirement. Customers can manage the process better now and are likely to combine telephone or in person advice with more online claims and purchases. ‘

Endsleigh has retained Tamar since 1998 and uses the interactive media agency for design and maintenance, email marketing campaigns and ongoing Search Engine Optimisation. Tamar also designs and maintains Endsleigh’s partner sites including Manchester United Financial Services.

Neil McCarthy, Commercial Director of Tamar, added: ‘The new site actually contains much more information, but in a more accessible and digestible format and in a design that coordinates with Endsleigh’s offline collateral and high street branding. The improved functionality, such as a streamlined quote process requiring fewer clicks, will appeal to Endsleigh’s more sophisticated and time-poor customers as they progress through their career.’
