FREESTYLE’S NEW CD-ROM CONTENT MANAGER FEATURE GIVES ARMOURED LAND ROVER SALES BRAND NEW TARGETING CAPABILITY

An innovative breakthrough in CD-ROM technology by Freestyle New Media Group is helping Land Rover's Armoured Vehicle Sales Division to target its customers with new levels of personalised marketing communication.

Freestyle’s new content management system (CMS) feature is called Firebox and was created specifically for a CD-ROM application.

It allows the user to write individual CD-ROMs for ‘named’ recipients; ‘burning’ only the number of units actually required. For Land Rover’s Global Armoured Vehicle Sales Division it means quick and easy preparation, updating and issue of the latest sales and marketing information – all in a high quality CD-ROM format.

The key benefit of Firebox’s facility to ‘customise, brand & burn’ CD-ROMs in one-offs and short-run batches ensures that individual customers need only receive a CD-ROM with content that is timely, tailored and targeted. Ease of use also means that production can be handled in-house.

Freestyle New Media Account Director Brendon Gill said:

As well as the independence to give selected customers exactly the information they need to make an informed purchasing decision, Firebox also enables the user to create and run impressive video-enhanced sales presentations which can be rapidly changed and updated with the latest prices and technical specifications.
