At Enterprise Networks 5th/6th July 2004, Stand 46 Olympia II, Krone, recently acquired by ADC, will display its CopperTen™ system, the company's world leading new Unshielded Twisted Pair (UTP) 10Gigabit/s structured cabling system.
CopperTen was first demonstrated to the world proving the capability to transmit 10Gigabit/s through a UTP copper cable in November 2003 at the IEEE 10GBASE-T standards working group.
Since that date the company's research and development, and manufacturing teams have perfected CopperTen, a system with the Shannon capacity to support full duplex 10Gigabit/s Ethernet over the full 100 metres of a conventional structured cabling system. A full presentation and market launch will be held in London during July.
Product management personnel from the combined companies will be on hand to demonstrate and discuss the entire range of fully component compliant Category 6 and Category 5e structured cabling solutions - including horizontal cabling, outlets, patch panels, patching frames and 100% factory-tested patch cords.
For backbone, campus and fibre-to-the-user applications, there will be a diverse range of blown and pulled fibre solutions including OM3 and OM3e fibre for 10Gigabit/s and extended reach 10Gigabit/s interconnect between actives.
Those interested in learning more about the expanded product range available following ADC's recent acquisition of Krone will benefit from visiting stand 46 and speaking to product management teams.
