Teamstudio, a leading developer of software tools today announced that it’s Teamstudio for Java product line has been reconfigured as Enerjy Software. The new, independent division of the company will employ an inventive business model, which directly challenges the landscape in the Java developer tool marketplace. Enerjy’s mission is to deliver well-engineered, superior-quality products at competitive price points for it’s rapidly expanding Java customer base.

There are currently four tools in the Enerjy Software line:
= Enerjy Code Analyzer – a best practices audit tool that allows you to analyze your Java applications
= Enerjy Memory Profiler – finds memory leaks in your code, indicates where they’re allocated and why they’re still around
= Enerjy Performance Profiler – locates performance bottlenecks and identifies where you spend the most time in your applications
= Enerjy Thread Profiler – finds and fixes thread problems in your Java applications

The Enerjy Software business model has been meticulously planned and developed. A significant feature of the strategy is the unbundling approach the new company has introduced to its business process. Through this distinctive approach, developers will be able to purchase only the products that they need at practical prices. The standard price for specific tools will be set at EURO 354 / GBP 211 per tool.

Quote from Enerjy Software:
“We have architected Enerjy Software from the ground-up to represent our core corporate values -- providing developers with superior products that are engineered to meet their specific needs, are easier to use, and are much-more cost-effective,” says Teamstudio and Enerjy Software CEO, Nigel Cheshire. “Java developers who use Enerjy Software tools will be working with the best Java tools available. However, what they will not be doing is paying for more than they need. Our focus has been and will continue to be on producing products that are engineered in such a way that developers who know their stuff appreciate how the tools are built and what they deliver. The goal is to meet programmers’ specific needs, while keeping our overhead low and passing these savings on to the developer.”

Enerjy plans several more announcements regarding its business plan and product line at the JavaOne Conference in San Francisco in late-June.
