As you will see from the release outlined below, the UK's largest annual celebration of seafood will take place from 1-8 October this year under the banner of 'Feeling Good with Seafood'.

Fronting the campaign is celebrity chef, Antony Worrall Thomspon, and whether it is just a mention that it is Seafood Week in your publication (logo can be supplied) or whether recipes are required (of which we have 100s with magnificent new photography) we can help in any way. Antony Worrall Thompson is also specially commissioning a series of recipes for this week.

We all know the benefits of eating seafood, from brighter children to increased longevity, and are looking for support over this week to promote such a fantastic product. So if it is recipes, or just basic information on eating seafood, please send me an email or give me a call.

Seafood Week
1-8 October

Seafood Week is a UK-wide celebration of the sea's rich harvest and takes place from 1-8 October. Organised by the Sea Fish Industry Authority (Seafish) and operating under the banner of 'Feeling Good with Seafood,' the week will involve a vast array of events, including tastings and promotional activity within supermarkets, hotels, restaurants and other outlets throughout the UK. Fronting the campaing this year is celebrity chef, Antony Worrall Thomspon.

Seafood is incredibly versatile and there are literally thousands of different fish and shellfish recipes which take just a few minutes to prepare and cook, ideal for busy lifestyles. And when it comes to providing a healthy, balanced diet, seafood is extremely important and should play a significant part in it - steaming halibut, poaching haddock and grilling prawns, are just some examples of healthy, quick and easy ways to put seafood on the table.
