bio-synergy helps to promote the thirst quenching requirements for Sports Relief participants

bio-synergy team up with the BBC London Sport to help promote Sports Relief challenge. Liquid Energy has been handed out across the UK to give participants extra energy.

bio-synergy donated Liquid Energy in the 3 variants Lemon & Lime, Blackcurrant & Orange to encourage awareness of Sports Relief 2004. Sports Relief is a charity organisation that supports less fortunate people living incredibly tough lives. Saturday 10th July brings all contestants together from up and down the UK.

Thousands of participants will achieve that extra mile (fuelled by Liquid Energy) to raise the money that will benefit lives of individuals that need that extra support.

bio-synergy's Liquid Energy is endorsed by thousands of leading sports teams and athletes. Liquid Energy was developed in conjunction with Louise Martin, Chief nutritionist of the Commonwealth Games Council: "After careful consideration, we have chosen Liquid Energy as our preferred energy drink for the Commonwealth Games."

Daniel Herman, Causal Marketing Director for bio-synergy, said: "It's great to see that over the last few years, the health awareness has increased vastly, encouraging healthy lifestyles from all ages and walks of life".

Notes to editors:

bio-synergy was formed 7 years ago as a result of the vision of an internationally renowned pharmacist, with the aim of developing functional products that would be suitable for anyone 18-80 whether they were looking to get more out of life or reach the pinnacle of their sport.

In the mid 1990's there was a radical shift in the UK which resulted in fitness being seen as a lifestyle choice rather than something just for vanity. In addition to this with a number of doping scares surrounding top athletes there was a need for safe, legal and ethical products to assist performance.
Initially bio-synergy teamed up with leading sports dieticians from DERA to develop a range of products that would meet these varying needs, the first of which (and still one of the most popular) is Creatine Plus.

bio-synergy were the first sports supplement company to advertise in publications such as Men's Health, Top Sante, Health & Fitness and Marie Claire. A unique image was developed, which was enhanced by listings in Harrods, Selfridges, Lillywhites and professional sporting endorsements.

bio-synergy, although still a relatively new company, quickly proved itself as a manufacturer of quality product, that was demand led. This resulted in bio-synergy capturing significant market share in professional sport and health and fitness. Probably the greatest accolade was working with the Chief Nutritionist of the Commonwealth Games 2002 to produce Liquid Energy, which was used by the athletes at the Games.
