--RNLA Will Leverage Intelliden’s Software To Develop Classified Military-Specific Device Support For Military Satellites, Servers, Telephony and Security Devices--

--Other Military Customers Will Benefit From Advanced Partnership--

Intelliden Corporation, the intelligent networking company, today announced that it has entered into an Advanced Development Partnership Program for the military sector with one of its premier customers, the Royal Netherlands Army (RNLA), as part of a multi-million dollar agreement.

As part of this agreement, the RNLA will leverage Intelliden’s open and extensible APIs, software development kits and the company’s patent-pending, XML-driven device modeling methodologies to develop specific NATO functionality. By leveraging Intelliden’s industry leading technology, RNLA will extend the reach and range of the Intelliden R-Series deeper into their network infrastructure by including other network devices which fall under the guidelines of the ‘NATO Secret’ specification including military equipment like satellites, Windows® servers, telephony equipment and security devices.

Ed van Beek, Lead Architect, Integrated Management and Control for the RNLA, added, “Intelliden is the only vendor capable of supporting our sophisticated requirements for our vision of network centric warfare and network-enabled capabilities. We’ve been extremely impressed with the approach and functionality of the Intelliden platform and the Intelliden applications to date and have standardized on Intelliden as our networking platform of choice for the TITAAN project. Based on the advanced architecture of Intelliden’s technology, we have decided to extend our relationship further, and will now be using Intelliden’s award-winning and patented technology to create internal applications for both the Army and Air Force.”

This agreement opens up the military sector for Intelliden, who will own the intellectual property of any resulting output and market to other military sector customers.

“The military arena remains one of the most innovative sectors in IT development,” said Ravi Pather, Intelliden vice president of EMEA. “The RNLA is responsible for developing communications and IT technologies for the NATO alliance and is already using Intelliden as part of its groundbreaking Theatre Independent Army and Airforce Network (TITAAN) project, which uses highly secure, sophisticated IP networks as an active part of military strategy for network-centric warfare. We’re delighted to be working with the RNLA as a development partner for creating Intelliden solutions to the wider military sector.”
