Remarkable, the leading British producer of design-led recycled stationery, has produced a full range of bespoke recycled products for retailer Habitat under the range name, Reco.
The Remarkable for Habitat range is now available in all 73 Habitat stores throughout the UK, France, Germany and Spain. The range includes packs of 10 pencils (each made from one recycled plastic cup), mouse mats and pencil cases made from recycled tyres and A4 and A5-sized notebooks made from 100% recycled paper.
It is the first time that Remarkable has embarked on a co-branded retail range and the range has been designed to fit with Habitat’s celebrations of “40 Years of Habitat” which are taking place throughout 2004.
Remarkable, the west London based company, has been producing award-winning recycled stationery since 1998. The company first started with the Remarkable Pencil, made from one recycled plastic vending cup, and has since been building its brand to become the UK’s leading designer of British-made recycled stationery.
“It is phenomenal recognition that such a well-known high-street retailer as Habitat has chosen to work with Remarkable on this bespoke range,” says Evan Lewis, Sales & Marketing Director at Remarkable. “We first met Habitat at the Pulse exhibition in London in 2003 and we are very proud that Habitat is supporting British industry with Reco which goes out under the branding ‘Remarkable for Habitat’. We hope this range begins a lengthy association between the brands of Remarkable and Habitat.”
