PRESS RELEASE FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Avanquest Kommunicate Ltd successfully integrates RightFax with Sage at Mortons Publisher and Printers

Avanquest Kommunicate, experts in business process automation and sole UK distributor of RightFax, the award winning enterprise network fax solution, are pleased to announce the integration of Captaris RightFax with Sage ERP with Mortons of Horncastle Ltd.

Mortons, Publisher and Printers are using a Sage Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solution which provides enterprise-wide business information and management control. Mortons requirement for RightFax was based around the need to be able to send out proofs not only from their 100 PC users, but also from their 50 Mackintosh workstations. They needed to be able to send out files in Quark Express, Photoshop and Acrobat PDF’s.

RightFax allows organisations to significantly reduce costs by integrating with core business applications and automating the flow of faxes, paper, electronic documents and data. Users can send, receive and manage faxes electronically reducing the time and costs associated with using traditional fax machines. RightFax Business Server 8.7 has been installed at Mortons with an MS exchange gateway, PDF/postscript engine and web client module.

Chris Thompson of Avanquest Kommunicate states “This is the first time we have integrated RightFax with Sage. We are delighted to be working with Mortons to improve their internal and external communications and streamline their business processes.”

RightFax is certified on Windows Standard and Enterprise Server and it offers a proven and reliable e-document delivery solution, solving many of the toughest business issues, including: Compliance Measures, Security, Disaster Recovery and Reporting and Archiving, allowing organisations to significantly reduce costs by integrating with core business applications and automating the flow of faxes, paper, electronic documents and data, reducing the time and costs associated with using traditional fax machines.

The latest version 8.7 of RightFax extends enterprise fax and e-document delivery capabilities, with support for IBM Lotus Notes 6.0 and 6.5 and Microsoft Windows 2003 certifications. Enhanced features enable more simplified, streamlined administration for monitoring and secure document delivery of enterprise-wide applications. RightFax 8.7 also broadens functionality with integrations to leading applications, messaging, workflow and multifunction. It also solves many of the toughest business issues, including: Compliance Measures, Security, Disaster Recovery and Reporting and Archiving, allowing organisations to significantly reduce costs by integrating with core business applications and automating the flow of faxes, paper, electronic documents and data, reducing the time and costs associated with using traditional fax machines.

Sam Cherry, an ICT Technician at Mortons comments “We were looking to improve our business information delivery and needed a solution that could easily be integrated with Sage Enterprise and our advert booking system. We also had a special requirement for Mac users, although there is not a designated client available for MAC systems, faxes can still be sent using the RightFax Web Client, which we also make benefit of when dialing in from offsite locations”.

With this module, users can manage their fax mailboxes through popular Web browsers, including Netscape Navigator, Microsoft Internet Explorer or any HTML-compliant browser (HTML 3.0 and above). They can send, receive, forward, route, delete and print faxes, attach files and perform other functions all via the Web.

Remote users simply enter the Web address of their fax servers to send, receive, forward, route, delete or print faxes. Users can also access phonebooks, billing codes, library documents and fax histories. Connectivity to the RightFax server can occur over a Secure Socket Layer (SSL v2 and v3) for privacy and protection.
