Key channel partnerships and e-Learning contracts to be announced, building on $1m contract with Westland Helicopters

LONDON, UK, 23rd August 2004 - OutStart, the leading provider of the only proven, content-centric software product family for learning, announces it’s drive into Europe with the launch of its EMEA head office in London and the appointment of Peter Nicol as Vice President, EMEA. OutStart has appointed a range of key resellers in the region and won several major e-Learning contracts within the banking, government and pharmaceutical sectors.

New Partners, New Clients
OutStart has, through newly appointed partners, including Omniplex and Kinsven, won a number of major e-Learning clients which will be announced over the next few weeks. These new customers build on OutStart’s $1 million Westland Helicopters contract to push e-Learning to 68,000 military personnel in 65 locations around the world.

Peter Nicol, VP EMEA, will be responsible developing OutStart’s EMEA business and driving the organisation’s expansion into new markets. Peter has over 15 years’ IT and telecommunication experience, and as regional Vice President for Concerto Software, was responsible for increased revenues and the successful re-structure of sales in Europe and Africa.
