October 31st is the day the clocks go back an hour, marking the end of British summer time. It’s also National Sleep-in day, as we gain an extra hour in bed. More and more people are suffering from mild insomnia or difficulty sleeping. Research shows that women in particular suffer with only 37% (compared to 55% of men) claiming they generally get a good night’s sleep . Part of the problem is a lot of us do not allow ourselves time to prepare for bed (mentally or physically).

Let Radox GoodNight help you make the most of your extra hour in bed with its range of specially developed products designed to help prepare your body for a really good night’s sleep. The range uses mood-enhancing fragrance ingredients, designed to enhance your bedtime routine. Each product in the range contains Lavender and Chamomile, renowned for their sleep inducing properties to help relax the mind and help prepare the body for sleep. Produced in association with the Sleep Council, the four products in the range work together to create a simple but effective bedtime routine.

1. Take a relaxing warm evening bath with luxurious purple shimmering Radox GoodNight Comforting Bath Soak with added moisturisers. The warm water helps relax your body’s muscles whilst the proven-to-relax fragrance will help you unwind your mind and release the stresses and worries of the day

A warm bath in the evening not only allows you to unwind and take time out for yourself, but if you then move to a cooler bedroom, the drop in body temperature from the bath will trigger the body’s automatic sleep switch; just a small drop in body temperature can help to start the sleep process

2. Whilst in the bath, use the complimentary rich and creamy Radox GoodNight Body Wash, with added moisturisers, to gently cleanse. It is also a luxurious purple colour and produces a rich, creamy lather

3. Pat yourself dry then gently massage Radox GoodNight Body Moisturiser into your skin. Massaging the surface of your skin will help deep muscle relaxation. This gentle creamy white gel has a unique combination of nourishing oils to effectively moisturise and lightly fragrance your skin. It has been specially formulated to be non sticky, easy to apply and is quickly absorbed, so it’s ideal to use before bed

4. Continue the theme and transform your bedroom into a haven of relaxation. One or two sprays of the Radox GoodNight Pillow Spray onto your pillows before bed will reinforce the proven-to-relax fragrance to help your mind stay relaxed as you prepare to drift into sleep. This fine, clear spray is fast-drying and non-staining
