EVOLVED NETWORKS APPOINTS VICE PRESIDENT GLOBAL SALES

Evolved Networks (www.evolvednetworks.com), the supplier of software tools that enable telecoms operators to automate the management of access networks, today announced the appointment of Nick Hewitt as its vice president of global sales.

Nick has over 25 years telecoms and IT experience. He will be responsible for further developing Evolved Networks’ sales operation and increasing its customer base worldwide.

Nick joins Evolved Networks from Granite Systems where he was vice president of sales EMEA and Asia Pacific. At Granite, he built a strong sales and technical team with seven offices across Europe and Asia. Nick took Granite to a market leading position enabling the company to increase new sales by over £25 million with major tier one operators including Telecom Italia, Deutsche Telekom, Telefonica, Auna Group, Matav, Croatia, STC, Reach and Hutchinson. Prior to that, Nick has also worked for other companies in the software industry including Altos, Informix, and Unisys.
