Offshore Customer Management International Conference, Cape Town, South Africa, 1 – 3 November 2004

The Offshore Customer Management International Conference moves on to the world’s most exciting emerging offshore market – South Africa. It is the only event that offers senior decision-makers in western business, a top flight conference with expert, independent speakers and leading case studies combined with opportunities to visit real-life contact centre and business process operations.

Delegates will hear, see and experience the realities of offshore, whether they are investigating offshore for the first time, looking to extend existing operations or seeking to unlock the potential of new geographies.
Case study presentations have been confirmed including National Rail Enquiries, Admiral and lastminute.com. As well as hearing first hand from these companies, who’ve been among the shapers of the offshore environment, delegates will have opportunities to visit the contact centre operations of leading offshore operators including Dialogue, CSC and Mindpearl in Cape Town and Merchants, Direct Channel Marketing and Sykes in Johannesburg.

“No company can afford to ignore the offshoring phenomenon and the business efficiencies it offers,” says Event Director, Christina Wood of ICT Communications. “But researching the market and investigating opportunities can be a costly and time consuming business. Our conference will let interested companies get beyond the hype; to see, hear, touch and feel the reality of offshore contact centre and business processing operations. And to do so in an independent environment, at low cost.”

Deals struck by conference organisers ICT, with South African Airways, will provide flights from the UK for less than £600. This means that the cost of conference attendance, including luxury hotel accommodation and flights, can be under £2000.

“While the conference is ideal for those investigating offshore, companies that already have offshore operations will also benefit. It offers them a rare platform to share experience and best practice with their peers, as well as a chance to access expert opinion on the latest developments and technological advances,” says Wood.

Delegates will also have the opportunity to assess other offshore locations, with overviews of emerging markets being offered as part of the conference programme including presentations from Dubai, Botswana, Barbados, and China.

Running alongside the conference will be the Offshore exhibition, which will give delegates and visitors opportunities to meet with contact centre and business processing operators as well as technology, infrastructure and service providers.

Take up of delegate places is already strong. Those interested in attending the Offshore Customer Management International Conference should contact Christina Wood at ICT Communications Ltd on 44 (0) 1932 354607, Christina@ictcomms.co or visit the conference web site at www.offshorecm.com
