James Lind, formerly sales director for Nortel Networks in Scotland, has joined Kingston Communications as Director for Scotland and Northern Ireland, with effect from September 1, 2004.
Glasgow born Lind joins Kingston from Nortel Networks, where he increased Scottish sales almost tenfold inside a four year period, winning some landmark business in the Scottish market-place. Prior to Nortel, he was with Cisco Systems where he grew the business in the Education sector, having started his career at Xerox.

Scotland is a key market for Kingston, not least because every major organisation in the UK has an office in Scotland. The total telecommunications market in Scotland is worth £2.57bn (1). Kingston’s customers there include Roche, The Greater Glasgow Health Board and Scottish Coal.
