Azure, the telecoms revenue assurance company, will be sponsoring and presenting at the GSM Asia Pacific Fraud Forum at 3GSM Asia World Congress 2004, taking place at the Suntec International Conference & Exhibition Centre, Singapore, on Monday September 27 to Friday October 1, 2004.

Dave Woods, director of fraud control services at Azure, will be speaking at the forum on Thursday September 30 about “IP and Content: what are the fraud risks & how do you control the problem.” Dave will explore the fresh developments and advancements in the prevention and reduction of telecoms fraud to help operators prepare for the new challenges of next-generation.

Following Thursday’s Forum, there will be an opportunity for GSM Fraud Forum members to meet with Azure’s Asia Pacific Fraud team in a 1-2-1 consultancy clinic. This private and confidential meeting allows members to seek advice on specific business issues or simply learn more about how Azure can help operators combat fraudulent revenue leakage.

Research in 2003 from leading telecoms analysts, Analysys, estimated that operator revenue leakage was 13.7 per cent of turnover. Azure has re-commissioned this survey and will presenting the latest results at the workshop and every attendee will be entitled to a free copy of the research.
