HYPERION AND UNITY SIGN UK RESELLER PARTNERSHIP AGREEMENT
LONDON, UK – October 5th, 2004 – Hyperion (NASDAQ: HYSL), the global leader in Business Performance Management, today announced a UK reseller partnership with U E S Limited trading as Unity, a specialist supplier of Peoplesoft Enterprise One and Peoplesoft World (formally JD Edwards OneWorld and JD Edwards World) middleware.
Unity specialises in helping companies using or planning to use PeopleSoft World and PeopleSoft Enterprise One enterprise software to maximise their business objectives through its flexible services proposition and innovative reporting and business intelligence solutions. Unity’s jdeDirect middleware solution is a standards based ODBC driver that enables any ODBC-compliant application to make secure, safe, read-only connections. According to Manoj Patel, Managing Director of Unity: “We have taken our vast experience and technical understanding of Peoplesoft Enterprise One and Peoplesoft World systems to develop an out-of-the-box, purpose built, intelligent bridge to the back-end ERP database. Customers want the freedom to support the management and continuous improvement of their business – easily, flexibly and without undue reliance on IT staff. As a result of our reseller agreement with Hyperion we can help bring strategic value to users with a powerful solution that integrates enterprise wide data to drive better decision making and business growth.”
