ISC’s sales track record and technical expertise recognised by leading global storage technology vendor

Winnersh, Berkshire and Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, 05 October 2004 – Advanced Digital Information Corporation (Nasdaq: ADIC) today announced that it has promoted Huntingdon-based reseller partner ISC to enterprise value-added reseller (EVAR) status, in recognition of ISC’s outstanding sales track record and technical expertise.

An ADIC VAR since 2001, ISC has been reselling and implementing ADIC’s range of data storage hardware for customers of all sizes, from small businesses to major corporations. The company has achieved consistently outstanding sales volumes, and has demonstrated the high levels of technical expertise and customer trust required to meet ADIC’s criteria for EVAR status.

As an EVAR partner, ISC will now benefit from increased margin opportunities. The new level of accreditation also entitles ISC to provide a range of professional services around the ADIC product set.

ADIC is the world’s leading vendor of automated tape libraries in the midrange market and is becoming an increasingly heavyweight vendor in the enterprise sector, thanks to innovative new products including the Scalar i2000 intelligent tape library and the Pathlight VX disk-to-tape backup solution.

“With the amount of electronic data produced by companies increasingly exponentially, demand for affordable and intelligent data storage solutions is on the increase,” said Christo Conidaris, regional director, ADIC UK. “As a result, we are expanding our channel reach in order to meet demand. ISC has demonstrated that it has the technical expertise, the commitment and the geographical reach to be an outstanding EVAR for ADIC.”

ISC deliver and support complete IT solutions to all business sectors with a nationwide scope. Its 300 employees provide a wide range of IT consulting, implementation, training and maintenance services from six offices across England and Northern Ireland.

“Businesses are looking for more sophisticated solutions to the problems of data management and data availability,” said Will Todd, Storage Division Business Manager at ISC. “Developing a closer working relationship with a key storage vendor like ADIC will put ISC in a strong position to meet that demand, and our high-level accreditation with ADIC will reassure our customers that we can provide outstanding technical expertise around the ADIC product set.”
