Launches ConfigPlus for HCM Enabling Customers to Directly Optimise HCM Suite, Lowering Costs and Improving System Control

Softscape, an industry leader in Web-based human capital management (HCM) and case management solutions, today introduced Softscape’s ConfigPlus™ for HCM, an easy-to-use toolkit enabling customers to directly configure Softscape’s AchievementPlus® HCM Suite to further maximise their deployments and configuration options. Expanding upon Softscape’s highly configurable HCM Suite, this flexible system gives customers the power to cost-effectively optimise the Suite by making changes in how data is presented, adapting existing or creating new workflows, building additional assessment tools, and modeling future processes and workflows.

“With hundreds of configuration options, the flexibility of our HCM Suite allows us to match each of our customers’ unique workflows and processes,” said Dave Watkins, co-founder and CEO, Softscape. “By extending this functionality directly to our customers, ConfigPlus for HCM provides them with access to the application’s complete range of options to plan for future growth without engaging outside resources.”

Previously, to make changes to data presentation and workflows, Softscape’s Professional Services Group leveraged the HCM Suite’s flexible technology framework and configuration options in the deployment phase. Now, customers who desire greater control over their HCM deployments will have the ability to make changes directly to the system while reducing future enhancement costs. The advanced commercial toolkit uses intuitive wizard-based processes to ensure that HR administrators are able to perform the configuration without relying on IT resources.

Softscape’s ConfigPlus for HCM enables customers to set up HCM related workflows such as performance reviews, course and requisition approvals, salary planning and other processes. Role based workflows are easily configured by establishing steps based on roles, relationships and business unit. Advanced messaging applications such as email notifications and late notifications can be created and associated with each step in the workflow.

The toolkit also allows for the configuration of user interface components such as toolbars, menus, dashboards, and other features common to the user experience. As features are added using the screen and form developers, they can be added to menus, while other items can be easily removed. Softscape’s HCM ConfigPlus provides this functionality with a complete training, documentation and support package.

Softscape’s ConfigPlus for HCM is available now for new and existing customers of Softscape’s AchievementPlus Advanced Edition.
