Green Cathedral turns Harvard Business School event interactive
Green Cathedral interactive (GCi), the website, online, and wireless execution business, has seen an instant response to the launch of the interactive site for next year’s Harvard Business School (HBS) Global Leadership Forum for alumni.

HBS, one of the world’s premier business schools, runs a Forum in London each year to encourage alumni to explore timely and significant issues through cutting-edge faculty research. The Ivy League University chose GCi to migrate the existing manual paper-based booking and administration system to the Web. The partnership with Harvard and GCi has resulted in increased speed and has delivered extensive cost benefits.

Allen Mottram, Operations Director of GCi, said: “With such a prestigious user-base as Harvard’s, our solution had to deliver outstanding customer service as well as a seamless online booking and payment system.

“Within an hour of the system going live, alumni were registering and choosing hotels, social events, tours and guest programmes without any manual intervention from the Harvard Business School team. It has proved very popular with delegates and we have had excellent feedback from the client.”

The HBS Global Leadership Forum is designed to bring together the school’s graduates to network and discuss current business challenges. Sherry Coutu, President of HBS Alumni Club of London commenting on the new service:

"I love the system that GCi has built. We're likely to use it to manage a number of different HBS events around the world. It has been built with re-use in mind and a flexibility that allows us to manage the needs of our Alumni in the way we want to, not the way the technology dictates. All in all, the system has empowered our team and delivered all the functionality we need to run events more cost effectively and efficiently."
