Leading suppliers of reduced cost landline to mobile solutions, CellClear and GSM Central have announced the merger of the two companies. The merger will see the creation of the UK’s largest provider of reduced cost landline to mobile calls for corporate and public sector users.

The new company will retain the CellClear brand name and will be headquartered in Billericay, Essex. The new company extends CellClear’s original business proposition to include a distributed architecture based on VoIP technology. CellClear is now able to offer businesses with multiple offices or sites a cost effective way of enabling their whole operation to achieve lower cost landline to mobile calls, as well as the option to benefit from other savings and functionality VoIP has to offer.

CellClear is a leading supplier of enterprise GSM Gateway solutions. It offers a unique package for enterprise users and public sector organisations, which requires no capital investment. Current clients utilising the CellClear solution include East Riding of Yorkshire Council, Luton Borough Council, University College London, Queens University Belfast, Basildon NHS, Granada Media Group.

Venture Capital-backed, GSM Central provides fully managed gateway services of its distributed IP Network to enable enterprise users to reduce the cost of landline to mobile calls. In addition, it offers a number of complementary enterprise solutions including a Voice over IP (VoIP) package that enable companies with sites in multiple locations to significantly reduce the cost of site-to-site telephony.
