The implementation is part of data improvement initiatives for Yell’s United Kingdom portfolio of products and services including Yellow Pages and Business Pages, Yell.com and Yellow Pages 118 24 7, its phone-based classified business information and directory enquiries service. All these products are produced within an information technology environment based on SAP.

Firstly, Trillium Software solutions will protect the accuracy of sales contact information, as well as benefit sales account management teams, by providing increased accuracy and completeness of details on advertisers. Secondly, the solutions also further support Yell in capturing new data on prospective customers by helping cleanse and merge it into a 'single view' of individual customers. And thirdly, the solutions enable information purchased from third parties to be more rigorously tested and cross-checked against existing records, eliminating duplicates.
