New Product Development, Continued Support of SSH Customers Key Corporate Initiatives

LONDON, November 22, 2004 - WRQ, Inc. today affirmed its commitment to the Secure Shell (SSH) security market and announced future product development plans to fulfill customer need.

WRQ and F-Secure formed a strategic partnership in September 2004, establishing WRQ as the exclusive global distributor of F-Secure. SSH. In addition to assuming distribution rights, WRQ also assumed responsibility for the evolution of the F-Secure SSH product and WRQ is committed to further, ongoing enhancements.

Just 60 days after announcing its strategic partnership with F-Secure, WRQ released F-Secure SSH for UNIX 5.0., providing customers with increased platform support, improved integration and administration capabilities, and usability enhancements that improve productivity and time savings. Updated versions of F-Secure SSH Server for Windows 5.3 and F-Secure SSH Client for Windows 5.4 are also available. Customers can expect to see regular WRQ updates of the F-Secure SSH product line moving forward.

The company is also actively involved in development planning, training, and customer relations. In the future, WRQ will make available additional standalone SSH products, including a client for Windows-based SSH in mid-2005. Current and future F-Secure SSH and WRQ Reflection. customers are urged to contact their local sales representative for additional details on WRQ's SSH product roadmap.

F-Secure SSH customers are also encouraged to provide feedback on product requirements and functionality by emailing

"In the short time since announcing our F-Secure partnership, we've already heard from nearly 100 F-Secure customers about their SSH product needs," said Randy Robinson, vice president of products at WRQ. "This direct feedback and additional customer input has greatly influenced our roadmap for SSH, and customers can count on WRQ for major new functionality in the product line as a result."

F-Secure SSH keeps passwords and connections secure from outsiders, mitigating security concerns such as eavesdropping, hacking, industrial espionage, and theft of corporate assets. The F-Secure SSH product line comprises server and client software for UNIX and Windows. Reflection, WRQ's feature-rich line of host access and PC X server software, currently offers SSH support in its Windows- and web-based clients. The addition of the F-Secure product line to WRQs portfolio enables WRQ to offer both ends of the secure SSH channel and more client capabilities and options.
